I took the initiative to create this website tomaspires.com entirely from scratch, carefully crafting both its web design and structure. In addition to this, I actively contributed to shaping the client’s brand identity by developing logos and a comprehensive pricing guide. My goal was to provide a holistic and seamless experience, ensuring that the website reflects the essence of the brand in every detail.

This website was made for a professional videographer, marking my first project from scratch.

Initially, I held a meeting with the client to understand his vision for the website. Following the discussions, I designed the entire web pages, blending his preferences with my creative inspirations.

After a series of meetings and some fixes, I made completed web design with titles and Lorem ipsum fake texts and provided pictures and licensed stock photos.

• Color tone; While he initially favored a darker tone for his website, I suggested a brighter color palette. My reasoning was to align with the theme of weddings, symbolizing “happiness” and “purity,” akin to the beauty of a wedding dress.
• Design system; I aimed for a minimalist design, using ample white space to convey a sense of “purity.” This approach not only aligned with the concept but also enhanced the user experience, creating a harmonious combination.
• Theme ; Purity, Sophistication, Modern, Classiness, Elegance.

I selected these colors to craft a sleek and sophisticated aesthetic for the minimalist website. Embracing the essence of a dark theme, I opted for a deep, velvety dark grey as the primary background, setting the stage for an elegant and modern look.

Complementing this, I incorporated a soft, soothing light grey as the secondary background, providing a gentle contrast that adds depth and balance to the design.

For the default font color, I settled on a refined dark grey that seamlessly blends with the overall theme, ensuring readability and a sense of coherence.

To infuse a touch of prestige and professionalism into the design, I introduced a luxurious metallic gold as the accent color. This choice not only exudes quality but also serves as a highlight, drawing attention to key elements and imparting a sense of exclusivity.

Together, these colors harmonize to create a minimalistic website that not only meets your client’s dark theme preference but also radiates sophistication and professionalism, making a memorable and lasting impression on visitors.

In collaboration with your client, we’ve carefully curated a selection of fonts to achieve a classy and modern aesthetic for the website. Our primary choice, the “Playfair Display” font, embodies sophistication and versatility. With its diverse range of font styles, it seamlessly encapsulates the essence of elegance.

To introduce a captivating contrast and depth to the website, we’ve paired “Playfair Display” with a secondary font “Poppings”. However, by using various font styles within “Playfair Display,” we’ve harnessed the power of contrast, striking a perfect balance between italics and regular fonts. This dynamic interplay not only enhances readability but also elevates the website’s visual appeal.

That’s why we made a conscious decision to avoid using the font “Poppins.” While “Poppins” may be a simple and straightforward font, it veers away from the desired theme of class and elegance, potentially disrupting the overall design cohesion.

By sticking with the carefully chosen “Playfair Display” and its font styles, we’ve maintained a consistent and refined tone throughout the website, ensuring that it radiates the desired sense of sophistication and modernity. The result is a website that not only captures attention but also leaves a lasting impression of refined elegance.

I’ve crafted this logo to capture the distinctive essence of my client’s brand. Despite the client’s request for a logo comprised solely of letters, I’ve managed to create a design that stands out more and remains true to his uniqueness. The simplicity of the design is its strength, and the irregular font sizes add an element of intrigue and individuality that sets it apart.

In addition to the logo, I’ve also paid careful attention to the creation of the favicon. Like the logo, it embodies a sense of simplicity, but it’s elevated by an underlying touch of class and a dash of uniqueness. Together, these elements harmoniously represent the brand, making a memorable and lasting impression

I embarked on the journey of creating this WordPress website with a clear goal in mind: to empower my client with the ability to effortlessly manage and update his work videos and reviews. Recognizing the importance of user-friendliness and ease of maintenance, I recommended WordPress as the ideal platform for the task.

Throughout the development process, I remained dedicated to translating my design vision into a functional website. However, I also embraced the evolution of the project, making improvements along the way. The integration of plugins, like the one to showcase Google Maps reviews, was a pivotal decision to enhance the website’s utility.

In my pursuit of excellence, I aspired to incorporate engaging animations into the website. The remarkable plugin that allowed for seamless and effortless animation integration.

In the end, this website represents a labor of dedication and learning, where the initial design vision evolved into a functional and dynamic reality. It showcases the power of adaptability and resourcefulness, resulting in a website that not only meets your client’s needs but also exceeds expectations.

My client initially requested that I display pricing lists on his website. However, during the development phase, he had decided not to reveal the pricing information.

Later on, he came up with an idea – to create a PDF pricing guide that would serve as an attractive showcase of his work, emphasizing its quality and value rather than just the price. I eagerly assisted him in curating his best packages and services, ensuring they were showcased in the most appealing way.

With my design skills, I crafted a pricing guide that matched the purity and elegance of the website I had created. The result was an easy-to-read document that not only highlighted the excellence of his work but also left a lasting impression on potential clients, emphasizing the craftsmanship behind his services.

I had a truly enjoyable experience creating this website down to the finest details. My primary focus throughout the project was to seamlessly blend the client’s vision for his ideal website with exceptional UX design. The client had a clear vision for his website and how he wanted to showcase his work.

UI design on mobile

Designing for mobile presented its own unique set of challenges. In WordPress, websites can sometimes appear differently on mobile devices compared to desktop screens. Overcoming these challenges required careful adjustments and organization to ensure that the mobile version of the website closely aligned with our intended design.

In the end, I’m proud of the result and believe that it successfully balances the client’s vision with the principles of effective UX and UI design. Creating this website was a fulfilling experience, and I look forward to future projects that allow me to continue pushing the boundaries of web design and user experience.
